It effectively relieves muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving muscle movement. It is also indicated to facilitate emergency airway management in patients in intensive care.. The most common side effects of this medicine include slow heart rate, decreased blood pressure. It may also cause pain, redness, and swelling at the site of injection. Atracurium besylate injection should be refrigerated at 2 deg to 8 degc (36 degf to 46 deg f) to preserve potency. Do not freeze.
