This medication is used to treat certain types of breast cancer. Abemaciclib works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells. It belongs to a class of drugs known as kinase inhibitors.Nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, loss of appetite, weight loss, constipation, tiredness/weakness, headache, or change in how food tastes may occur.
